NOT EVEN THE END OF MAY YET AND WE HAVE PROTECTECTED NEST # 5

On this beautiful morning.  Sunday NMB STP Volunteers are all out walking their early morning segments, all looking for any potential signs of a Sea Turtle crawl or nest.  As they all know how important their walks will be in protecting and saving the Endangered Sea Turtle species. Thank you to all who are out walking the NMB and Briarcliffe areas and to all the day leaders.

While segment walkers Crystal and Margarete are walking their early morning walk, they are stopped by the NMB sanitation workers ( a possible nest) as Crystal and Margarete are almost there and to their excitement.  Yes a crawl and body pit for sure!

The calls are made to the NMB STP hotline  and day leader Arlene. NMB STP Volunteers are on their way.

As this Sea Turtle nest is in an unsafe place on the beach it is relocated to a safer place on the beach.
