Carla and Don were just barely on the beach when stopped by NMB Sanitation with the news that something was on the beach up ahead.
Sure enough, a nice distinct crawl up to the dunes.
Rob probes and quickly finds a nice soft spot. Eggs Chamber?

YES!!!
Soon discovered that 3 of the top eggs were opened and drained. Ghost Crab?
The empty shells were removed from the nest and one was used for the DNA Study.
Nest #5, the first nest of 2012 actually on North Myrtle Beach.
