Turtle Tracks and a turtle on the beach. Unfortunately wrong kind of turtle. Aquatic land turtle, Yellow Slider. This young turtle was found around 31st Ave N in Cherry Grove, swimming in the shallow water. Relocated to McLean Park, a more suitable location.
Crescent Beach, around 26th Ave S. Young juvenile loggerhead, carapace was around 25 inches long.
Very emaciated.
Thank you Sandy, Paul and Pat for rescuing this confused turtle from the ocean. It has been relocated to a better place.
