Dacy was returning from her walk along Segment B this morning when she was stopped by a NMB Sanitation Worker. "There's a crawl on the beach" Sure enough, a very distinct crawl, coming up from the water but turning just before the high tide line and returning back into the ocean. Had this turtle just come ashore? Sure seems like it. This crawl was not there 30 minutes prior when Dacy walked the area.
A can was found in the crawl just before the turtle started to turn. Did this cause her to turn back?
