North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade

The last event of the very first year for the North Myrtle Beach Sea Turtle Patrol........

THE NORTH MYRTLE BEACH CHRISTMAS PARADE on December 4, 2010.

Sherry designed and created a great turtle.... Sherry, Debbie and Betty spent hours putting on hundreds of white and amber Christmas lights. Julie designed the logo and the fantastic banner. Teressa had the banner printed. Sandy and Bobbie helped with the planning and implementation. Santee Cooper donated the "Lights Out, Sea Turtles Dig the Dark" Banner. Steve and Bobby drove the turtle around in Rob's golf cart. A great big thank you to each and everyone of you for putting this great event together!!! And a big thank you to all the Sea Turtle volunteers who came out and walked the parade route on that chilly and sometimes wet evening. As I walked with the volunteers, I heard many positive comments from the side lines about the turtle and the Turtle Patrol.

Thank you Nancy for your great pictures.

A very huge THANKS to everyone who has made this First Year so successful. A volunteer organization is only as good as it's volunteers and the THE NORTH MYRTLE BEACH SEA TURTLE VOLUNTEERS ARE THE GREATEST!!!!

Linda
