On a beautiful Saturday, NMB Sea Turtle Patrol volunteers were on hand to share information about sea turtles with lots of festival goers. We handed out coloring sheets and spider rings for the kids and also picture postcards that Linda had printed.
It was a really nice display - lots of photos from this past season done up in a very large collage and lots of posters and educational material too.
A number of people expressed interesting in joining the group next season and we look forward to seeing them in the spring.
The next big happening for the NMB Sea Turtle Patrol volunteers will be participating in the Christmas Parade here in NMB scheduled for December 4. We expect to have our own specially decorated golf cart ready to go and spread the word about our program.
