Wednesday May 11, a call came into the NMB STP hotline around 6AM from an early morning walker on the beach reporting possible seaturtle activity. Permit Holder Linda Mataya meet up with several NMB STP Volunteers starting their early morning walk. Very short and faint crawl at high tide line, but a body pit for sure.

Chuck soon arrives and probing begins
Small and very neat body pit, outgoing crawl is very close to incoming crawl, no energy wasted here.
Experienced turtle, she seems to know eaxctly what to do.
Eggs are found very deep in egg cavity....Yes. WE HAVE A NEST.

154 eggs were found, 153 eggs moved from just above the HTL and middle of the beach, back closer to the dunes, out of the way of beach and people traffic.
Two fox were also seen scouting out the area near the nest.
