Briarcliffe Nest #2

Larry came across a nice, distinct crawl early in his walk.  By 6:15 AM, he had determined a nice nest.

This nest was on the best spot of a severely eroded section of the beach, results of the King Tides last fall.  High Spring tides now come up to the dune lines a couple of times each month.  So decision was made to move the nest further South, up into the dunes.

Eggs were quickly uncovered

Two mis-shapen eggs were found

Eggs safely transferred to new site.

Thanks Larry and the rest of the Braircliffe Crew
