4th Stranding

Another stranding this morning.....this time a juvenile loggerhead....found just north of the Sea Cabins Pier in Cherry Grove.   Head and face were in bad shape.....carapace had large barnacles.....a fish hook with long line was found embedded in the right front flipper.....but a shallow wound and line was not wrapped around any part of the body......physically the turtle do not appear to be in bad shape....no visible wounds or trauma....
