A brief recap of this nest and the importance of documenting how this nest did. This will be entered into a national data base to help in the future conservation efforts to help in the future survival of the endangered Sea Turtle species.
There were 2 live Hatchlings in the nest that are released on the beach to begin their journey once the inventory is completed, so any found in the nest will go out at the same time. All are welcome to see the hatchlings and an empty eggshell.
This an unusual nest, there was very small hatchling in this nest, this is called Saddleback in the hatchling.
Here you can see the comparison in size to a normal sized Hatchling.
All are welcomed to look at the eggshells, and the deep hole the eggs incubated in.
2 live hatchlings were found in this nest and released at the beach. Results of the inventory are shared.
