To the emergence of Nest #6

And now onto the inventory 

 

The empty shells will be counted, all other eggs will be documented along with any live or deceased hatchlings will be counted.  In this nest all of the live Hatchling had made it out of the Nest before inventory.

95.16% hatch rate of relocated egg

        118 Hatched eggs

 3 whole eggs

  3 pipped eggs

               2 deceased Hatchlings

      0 live Hatchlings

All Sea Turtles are endangered, they are federally and state protected.  Special guidelines, training and permits are required to work with Nesting Sea Turtles, Hatchlings, Nest and stranded Sea Turtles.
