Opening Day--2014 Sea Turtle Nesting Season

Thursday, May 1st,  Opening day of the 2014 Sea Turtle Nesting season.  What better way to mark this than the opening of an exhibit, Sea Turtles: Captured in Art and Photography, at the NMB Historical Museum. 

Beautiful pictures, great art work and crafts.

  

  NMB Sea Turtle Volunteer, Julie Bostian, documented her past 4 seasons working as a volunteer with the Patrol.

Several local artists submitted paintings as well as sea turtle crafts.

Paulette, Leslie and Mary provided delicious Turtle Cookies for refreshments
